Happy Labor Day Weekend Parents!
I hope everyone has settled into a great school year and that your girls are ready to dance. I know all the teachers are looking forward to next week, we’ve missed your girls!!
Here are this week’s news items…
· Classes begin this coming Tuesday, September 3rd.
· There have been several questions about company’s monthly tuition. Your dancer’s tuition for her required classes (the classes emailed to you the first week of August) is $175.00 per month. Any classes beyond that required schedule are $30.00 per month, per class extra. Examples would be drill team, hip hop or an extra technique class. This is different than last year for our youngest dancers who were not required to take a technique class last year. But now we've added a technique class requirement for ALL company members. Technique class for older girls is either Saturday strength or a second ballet class during the week. For younger girls technique is either Wednesday turn and leap or a second ballet class during the week.
· I will continue to take sweat and yard sign orders until Saturday, September 7th, which is the first day of Production. After that I will not be able to take orders, as I must submit a bulk order only. The "try on" sample sizes will be at the studio this first week if you were unable to check sizes during the summer. Order forms were emailed to you on August 8th and I will send the form out again in a separate email today. ALL NEW MEMBERS MUST PURCHASE THESE. Veteran dancers who need new items may also order. There will be no billing envelope handed out for this.
· Dance Revolution envelopes are due September 20th. They will be handed out the first week of classes. All dancers must attend this convention.
UPCOMING DATES
• SEPTEMBER 14th: 10:30 am (during Production) MANDATORY parent meeting at the studio to receive this season's tentative dates and information.
• SEPTEMBER 20th: Dance Revolution Convention fee *** due to the company envelope in the lobby. The fee is approximately $170.00 - $180.00 depending on level.
• OCTOBER 13th: MANDATORY Sunday rehearsal 2:00 - 4:00pm
• OCTOBER 20th: $100.00 costume down payment fee *** due to the company envelope in the lobby.
• OCTOBER 26th: HUFFHINES fall performance in the morning
• NOVEMBER 8th – 10th: Dance Revolution Convention at Hyatt Regency DFW Airport
